Organizational Structure

An organizational structure of NRTC outlines how certain activities are directed in order to achieve the goals of an organization. These activities include rules, roles, and responsibilities. The organizational structure also determines how information flows between levels within the company.

The structure is a valuable tool in achieving coordination, as it specifies reporting relationships (who reports to whom), delineates formal communication channels, and describes how separate actions of individuals are linked together.

  • The NRTC's organizational structure shows corporate communication, the executive and managerial hierarchy, and creates a plan for efficient growth in the future.
  • Explain the roles of formalization, centralization, levels in the hierarchy, and departmentalization in employee attitudes and behaviors.
  • Describe how the elements of organizational structure can be combined to create mechanistic and organic structures.
